Title: Reflection of Flowers in Water, 2017

Medium: cotton and synthetic fibre, honeycomb pattern technique / Dimension: 8” tall

Statement: “Claude Monet painted beautiful flowers, gardens, and lily ponds, among other subjects, in the impressionist style – merely suggesting reality and emphasizing light effects and colour. I love the flowers in my garden, and so Monet’s impressionistic and vivid pictures of flowers, especially reflections of them in water, really inspire me.”
