Colleen Pattrick
Art is life and life is art. Everything that you touch or see in your life has the mark of art in it whether by nature or human. I feel that when I create art, I am creating an expression of a part of me with inspiration from the things that I see and interpret. I love nature and beautiful things and derived great pleasure from creating these paintings. I hope you will love them as much as I loved creating them and they will help add to the mood of the room that you choose to display them in.
I have some art training and a long interest in the art but I followed a career path to health care. I was a Chiropractor for 45 years and specialist in orthopedics and impairment ratings, receiving awards for my work. Since 2018, I have been regularly involved with the Burlington Fine Arts Association in many aspects such as showing at group exhibits, Tansley Woods Library and juried shows. I also showed at The Royal Botanical Gardens, and Historical Sovereign House and commissioned works hang both in professional facilities and private homes. I was one of 50 artists designing leaves for a Joseph Brant Hospital and bowls for the Soup Bowl for the Art Gallery of Burlington fundraisers.
