Ankaret Dean has been my inspiration for basket weaving. Ever since I took courses from her in the eighties, I have found ways to weave baskets. I use grapes vines and natural fibres to create unique one-of-a-kind baskets. The baskets often remind me that our ancestors used natural materials to create functional artifacts for daily living. I have the privilege of a sales venue at the Garden Gallery Holland Park in Dundas and in the Goderich Co-op Gallery. I encourage clients to visit my displays at those locations.
