Jennifer Earle

Love of textiles and colour made me dream of being a Costume Designer, but practicality saw me going to University of Guelph and majoring in Textiles. Designing is like working out puzzles…very satisfying, and a computerized dobby loom allows for more complexity in design. I love watching materials take form under my hands, whether by weaving, dyeing or spinning. The use of colour is absolutely essential to me as part of my expression in producing small batches of useful things. Colour brightens my day, and I hope brightens yours too!
